The finished inlay earrings are shown in the pictures next to a true to scale ruler and this is the size of the actual file if no adjustments are made to it. Most files can be adjusted for size by choosing the entire file and scaling up or down in your design software. Please be aware that sizing any file down will adjust the inlay sizes and could possibly make some inlays too small.

In order to recreate this file, you will need to be somewhat familiar with kerf and your laser's kerf. If you are not, I have filmed a 15 minute video on You Tube entitled "How to Adjust for Kerf Offset in Lightburn" (How to adjust for kerf offset in Lightburn (youtube.com)) that shows you the way to use this file and the Lightburn program to adjust and cut for kerf without using math or offsetting these files in other software design programs. It's not a fancy video, but it will teach you the basics in order to use these files.
I have tested these files using my Boss LS2440 150 watt CO2 Laser using 1/8" Prefinished Eco Oak and printed acrylic/MDF (called Patternply) from Smokey Hills Designs.
